This is by far our most popular package because it includes the best of both worlds.
We can customize the start days for this particular trip as well as the length of your stay. However, we need at least two in the group and can accommodate as many as ten anglers.
Our most common length of stay is Saturday to Friday. You’ll take the 10:00 flight, Saturday, from Anchorage to Iliamna. We’ll meet you at the airport in Iliamna, load your gear into our vans, and take a short drive to our seaplanes. After the planes are loaded, we’ll skim across the lake and climb into the magnificent Alaskan air for our short flight to The Outpost. If you’ve never flown in a seaplane, this will be as exciting and memorable as any other moment of your stay with us.
When we pull up to the dock, you’ll be met by our amazing guides. We’ll grab your gear, and review some of our basic lodge rules – don’t feed the bears. After lunch, we’ll load up and fly out to the river Saturday afternoon.
You’ll enjoy your first three nights under the stars, floating through the most amazing wilderness found anywhere in the world, and catching mind-blowing fish. Our guides will take care of everything, including setting up camp and providing gourmet meals while on the river. Your last three nights with us will be spent back at the lodge.
Every morning at the lodge starts with breakfast at 7:00 am. You’re in a boat or plane by 8:00 am and off to your first location. Lunch will be served around noon on the water. And you’ll return to the lodge by 5:00 pm for Happy Hour. Dinner starts at 6:00 pm. The rest of the night is yours to enjoy drinks, the hot tub, watch the amazing sunsets, and tell the best fish stories of your entire life.
For most packages, Friday is the last day of your experience. We’ll wake up, have breakfast, and load the float plane at 8:30 to fly back to Iliamna. Your flight from Iliamna back to Anchorage will depart at 10:00 am and arrive by 11:30 am. Although this will be the end of your stay, by no means is this goodbye. The Outpost at Intricate Bay never leaves you.
Again, we can customize the start days for this particular trip as well as the length of your stay. Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions.

Shorter Stays Available
If you need to book a trip for a shorter stay, please email or call for details. We’re happy to work with you on a prorated rate to customize a length of stay that work for your schedule.
Gear
We welcome you to bring your own personal fishing gear. However, we do have quality rods, reels, flies, waders and boots available on site at no additional cost to you. All you really need to bring is a good rain jacket and clothes for the week.
Beverages
Guests are required to provide their own beer, wine and liquor as Iliamna is a “Dry” village. Ask us how we can assist you in purchasing and shipping your alcohol before you arrive.
Deposits and Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm and hold space. We will provisionally hold space for 14 days from the date of booking until deposits are received. Thereafter, we reserve the right to cancel bookings that are not confirmed by deposit. Deposits and other payments are not refundable after January 1st. Guests may transfer deposits or other payments to another person using the same space of the fishing week booked. A final payment of 50% is due 60 days prior to your arrival at our fishing lodge in Alaska. We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance.
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless client replacements are found. There is no refund for any unused portion of the land package. Itineraries are based on current airline schedules that are subject to change and could result in an adjustment to final cost.
Other Information
